Apple Classical Music App Found in iOS 16.3 Release Candidate Code

Hidden code in the iOS 16.3 release candidate reveals that Apple is still working on a standalone classical music app.

Apple acquired classical music service Primephonic in August last year and announced that it would release an app in 2022. .

However, it was recently revealed that Apple plans to continue releasing the app. A hidden code change was found in the Music app (e.g. ‘Open in Apple Music Classical’, ‘Explore this artist in an app designed for classical music’). .’ iOS 16.3 is currently in final beta testing and is expected to be released next week.

References to the Classical Music app were also found in iOS 15.5 beta, Apple server XML files, and Apple Music for Android.
