watchOS 9.3 is the third major update to version watchOS 9 and comes a month after watchOS 9.2 was unveiled. Software updates can be downloaded free of charge. Users must connect their Apple Watch model to their iPhone, then open the iPhone’s Settings and then initiate a software update. Users must have both their iPhone and Apple Watch model connected to a charger, and their Apple Watch must be within range of their iPhone for the update to work.

watchOS 9.3 introduces several new features, including a new workout option and the watch face Unity Mosaic, launched in time for Black History Month. Collision detection has also been optimized to prevent accidental calls.

Full details of security fixes and features can be found on the official Apple support page.
