Warhammer 40K: Darktide A dark, chunky game that came out on PC late last year left 4 dead Set in the bleak, distant future of Games Workshop. It was fine! I had a problem, but it was fine. However, these issues persisted until 2023, so the developers are putting the Xbox version of the game on hold while they fix the issues.
In a statement released earlier today, Fatshark said it had “set out to create a very engaging and stable game with a level of depth that would keep you playing for weeks instead of hours,” but that it did not meet those expectations.
As a result, they will not only be delaying “seasonal content” for the PC version, but also delaying the game’s release for the Xbox Series X|S.

We take immense pride in Fatshark’s ability to deliver games that millions can enjoy. This is what we set out to do with Warhammer 40,000: Darktide to create an engaging and stable game with levels of depth that will keep you playing for weeks, not hours.
We didn’t live up to those expectations.
Our sole focus over the next few months will be addressing the feedback many people have. In particular, we will focus on providing a complete crafting system, a more rewarding progression loop, and will continue to work on optimizing game stability and performance.
This also means delaying the rollout of seasonal content and the launch of the Xbox Series XIS. It also suspends the release of upcoming premium cosmetics. We couldn’t continue down this path knowing that we didn’t cover many areas of feedback in the game today.
Thanks for playing and providing feedback. Thank you very much. It will continue to help shape the games we love.

I didn’t think the PC version was that bad! There were problems, of course, but online games with small teams like this often have problems. And small teams often don’t have the resources to do it. all at once, So if this is what they want to do with what they have, this is what they will do with what they have!
