Dead Space Remake is so scary that even the development team is trying to play it.

Dead Space Remake is so scary that even members of the development team are said to be struggling to play it.

In an interview with PLAY magazine (thanks to GamesRadar+), technical director David Robillard admitted that he struggled to play with headphones at night because it was “too scary.”

Let’s play Dead Space – Late to the Party.

“When I do it at night, I can’t do it with headphones. It’s so damn scary,” said Robillard. “It’s the amount of realism and atmosphere. Not just the visuals, right? The way we handle the sound, the atmosphere, the effects, having a system that will surprise you.

“These things, you know, could have been done [on PS4]But not at the level we are doing today. And they really add a lot to this kind of genre and bring all kinds of experiences together even more,” they added.

ICYMI, legendary filmmaker John Carpenter suggested that a Dead Space film project is currently in development. The Halloween sidekick has previously said he’s interested in making a Dead Space movie, and that a project is currently underway that could see the survival-horror franchise on the big screen.

At the time, Carpenter said, “I’m a huge video game fan, so I played everything.” “I was looking at my new digital camera, the RED, and I casually told them I wanted to do a Dead Space movie. I just walked by and everyone was like, ‘Oh, when are you going to do it? ‘”
