With the launch of the Galaxy S23, Expert RAW has become an integral part of the mobile photography experience. And Adobe Lightroom is adding an experience for Galaxy S23 and Book 3 buyers.
In case you missed the news, Samsung has announced a new series of laptops at Unpacked alongside the latest Galaxy S23 flagship phone. All are available for pre-order, and Samsung has worked hard to enrich the user experience for phone and ultrabook users.
For example, Galaxy Book 3 owners can use a mouse, keyboard, or trackpad to control a Galaxy S23 running One UI 5.1.
And another new feature announced today is Adobe Lightroom integration and seamless synchronization between all these devices.
Lightroom provides seamless syncing for Galaxy S23 and Book 3 users.
Expert RAW is now available directly through the camera app on the Galaxy S23 series. You’ll need to download the app separately from the Galaxy Store, but once installed, you can access it through the default Samsung Camera app.
Likewise, Adobe Lightroom is an Expert RAW-only editing app, and as before Unpacked 2023, you can download it via a prompt inside the Expert RAW app.
However, the partnership between Adobe and Samsung now extends to the latter company’s laptops. Professional RAW photos edited through the Lightroom app on the Galaxy S23 or Galaxy Book 3 series are synced between devices, making the editing process easy for Samsung smartphone and Galaxy laptop users.
The Galaxy S23 flagship phone and Book 3 laptop are available for pre-order on Samsung’s online store. The phone and Galaxy Book 3 Pro / 360 Pro will be released on February 17th. The Galaxy Book 3 Ultra will be released on February 22nd.
