Heritage walks organized on National Tourism Day


Indore (Madhya Pradesh): At the National Tourism Day event on Wednesday, a heritage walk was organized by Maharaj Hari Rao Holkar Chhatri by members of the India Tourism Indore and Travel Agents Association, where historian Zafar Ansari explains the history of the Holkar Empire and Indore.

Members of the travel industry participated. Many dignitaries attended including Hemendra Singh Jadaun, Chairman of TIE Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh.

Ansari told them about local tourism in the city of Indore and told them about the many historical buildings in the city that have been restored to their old form.

Due to the city’s increased tourism, there are employment opportunities in many fields. That’s why it’s so important for everyone to work to promote local tourism in the city, Ansari said.
