Last week NVIDIA sold more RTX 4070 Ti cards than all Radeon RX 7000 and Arc Alchemist combined.
According to the most recent sales data TechEpiphany, NVIDIA has sold over 500 GeForce RTX 4070 Ti graphics cards.
In the third week of January, NVIDIA sold 545 models of the RTX 4070 Ti. This includes all variants sold by German retailer Mindfactory. This figure is higher than the RTX 4080 and RTX 4090, which sold 210 and 190 units, respectively.
Having so many RTX 4070 Ti cards sold in one week means that they have surpassed the combined sales of the Radeon RX 7900 XTX, RX 7900 XT and Intel Arc A770/A380. The latter is currently sluggish sales, especially with only 20 combined sales of the Alchemist GPU.
Sales of the RX 7900 series are clearly behind Nvidia RTX 40 GPUs with only 300 XTX cards and 200 XT models sold. However, the RX 7900 XTX, advertised as a direct competitor to the 4080, has sold 110 more units, despite far fewer custom designs currently available.

AMD also outperformed the Radeon RX 6700 XT with 410 units and the NVIDIA RTX 3060 with 485 units. This shows how important the upper mid-range segment is right now, but neither AMD nor NVIDIA have formalized their next-gen plans for this segment. A third competitor, Intel, sold only 10 units of the Arc A770, offered in a similar price and performance segment.
