‘Rasode Mein Kaun Tha’ fame Yashraj Mukhate tunes ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’ in his recent Instagram reel, and Vishal Dadlani reacts.

It’s been days since SRK’s Pathaan hit cinemas, but the fan frenzy doesn’t seem to be fading any sooner. A recent music reel shared on Instagram showed a modified version of a popular song from the SRK-Deepika Padukone film ‘Jhomee Jo Pathaan’.

Remember the Kokila Ben-Rashi rap that was popular a few years ago? Content creator Yashraj Mukhate, who composed the whimsical music for the dialogues in the soap opera Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, is making a comeback with his version, ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’. And his way of amplifying his singing is winning hearts on the internet.

Yashraj Mukhate calls it an “improved” version of Bollywood beats. The video went viral and even Vishal Dadlani, who wrote the original score for the movie Pathaan, commented on the Instagram reel and gave Mukhate a chance to collaborate.

In 2020, Mukhate created a music reel from a popular dialogue between two reel characters named Kokila Ben and Rashi, inspired by a daily TV serial called Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. In a cutaway rap, Kokila Ben scolds Rashi for raising the rice cooker without chana (chickpea). During the case, Gopi Bahu cries dramatically. I pulled all of this into a fun song format and uploaded it to YouTube.
