A new drama series based on the best-selling manga is coming to the Apple TV+ streaming platform.
‘Drops of God’ is an 8-episode series based on the manga of the same name. The French-Japanese drama is set to air on Apple TV+ in 2023, but will air on Hulu in Japan. Japanese manga is created by Tadashi Agi and Shu Okimoto.
‘God’s Drop’ tells the story of a Japanese wine expert who passes away and leaves a legendary wine collection to his estranged daughter. But her daughter has to contend with the wine expert to collect her inheritance. The series stars Tomohisa Yamashita and Fleur Griffer as Issei Tomine and Camille Leger respectively. Oded Ruskin will direct and Klaus Zimmerman will serve as producer. This series is written by Quoc Dang Tran.
Apple TV+ costs $6.99 per month and features original Apple content.
