The exponent opens negatively. Sensex down 413 points, Nifty down 17500 points

Today, the benchmark index started negative with the Nifty below 17500.

Sensex closed down 413.60 points (0.69%) at 59294.48 and Nifty fell 145.50 points (0.83%) at 17470.80.

About 918 shares rose, 1,009 shares declined, and 105 shares remained unchanged.

SBI Life Insurance, Infosys, ITC, Bajaj Auto and HCL Technologies were among Nifty’s major beneficiaries, while the biggest losers were Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, HDFC Life, SBI and UPL.
