Take it with a grain of salt, but according to a new Weibo leak, the Redmi Note 12 range is about to grow once again with a phone tentatively dubbed the Redmi Note 12 Turbo. The device is expected to launch in China first, with possible international launches later with other brands such as Poco.
Right now we only know a few things about the unannounced device. This includes the fact that the Redmi Note 12 line of phones will include an entirely new feature: an in-display fingerprint reader. Like many of its siblings, the Redmi Note 12 Turbo is known to rock a 6.67-inch AMOLED, 120Hz, FHD+ display. Another interesting thing is that this phone is based on Snapdragon 7 Gen 2 chipset.
The leaks continue on some camera specifications including a 50MP main snapper, an 8MP ultrawide and a third camera of sorts. Like the Redmi Note 12 Pro, it can be a 2MP macro snapper. The leak also claims that the phone will feature a 5,500mAh battery which is slightly larger than the 5,000mAh packs of most other Redmi Note 12 phones. Unlike the Redmi Note 12 Pro, it is paired with fast 67W charging.
That’s all the info we have right now and we’ll keep an eye out for other Redmi Note 12 Turbo news.
