You can now update iOS 16.3.

Apple has released the long-awaited iOS 16.3 for iPhone and iPad users.

iOS 16.3 is the third version of iOS 16, released in September last year. It is the third iteration of iOS 16 and was released a month after iOS 16.2. Users of supported iPad and iPhone models can download the update by going to their device’s Settings, General, and Software Update.

iOS 16.3 brings several new features including advanced data protection, Sing in Apple Music and Freeform apps. Apple ID security keys are also introduced, along with support for the second-generation HomePod and a new Unity wallpaper. Emergency SOS on supported devices has been adjusted to prevent accidental calls.

Bugs, namely music requests via CarPlay and Siri, horizontal lines on the iPhone 14 Pro Max have also been eliminated. Security updates have also been released for older iOS users on iOS 12.5.7 and iOS 15.7.3.
